Mogollon Monster!

OCT 12 UPDATE: I contacted Professor Russell Ciochon, head of the Anthropology Dept. at the University of Iowa, and wanted me to clarify that Bigfoot and Gigantopithecus aren’t the same at all! You can read about his research, placing our ancestors Homo Erectus as neighbors alongside Gigantopithecus. I sure hope they got along…

A super-sized comic since I won’t be updating on Monday.  I’m going camping this weekend up on Arizona’s Mogollon Rim, which has its very own Mogollon Monster, a different brand of sasquatch.

However, before the first throws of the Human Extinction Event, when we spread out to all the different continents to eliminate all the docile megafauna, there existed Gigantopithecus, the largest primate that ever lived.  Standing at 10 feet tall, these herbivores roamed the Asian continents, eating herbs, I guess.  Some theorize these creatures are the modern sasquatch that are sighted around the world.  Unfortunately, there is little hard evidence to support the existence of such creatures during Dominion’s Middle.

Fortunately, at Dominion’s Height, they were able to clone gigantopithecus and repopulate the world with the skunk apes!  But decades of superstition clearly have left them so very very lonely.
